After washing the face the skin feels uncomfortable and dry unless you apply a skin cream or moisturizer. If your skin is chapping and cracking then that is mark of dehydrated and dry skin. High temperature, high winds and air conditioning cause dry skin.
These things cause skin to chap, skin to flake and maybe even feel tight. The main places you will see this on your face is approximately the eyes and the cheekbones.

There are superior manners to take care of dry skin. You can use mineral water to wash your face instead of normal tap water. Do not rinse it off with a washcloth, but in a minute obtains a towel and pat your dry face. Another thing, do not apply hot water to rinse your skin or face. Use cooler water to rinse off any sort of skin care lotion or something off your face.
